Munro Scottie Dog Space attributes his longing for the stars to two things: a childhood listening to synthpop and electronica, and his lifelong love of buttery treats. He realises now there's no truth in the rumours about the moon being made of cheese, but he's committed to becoming the first Scotspup in space just in case. And there's something rather dreamy about drifting through the Milky Way to the sound of synth-y beats (with a supply of shortbread fingers, of course). The name Jellycat was dreamt up by a child who loved jellies and cats and giggled at the thought of the two together. The silliness of the name was a great reflection of the design, and so it stuck! Jellycat has been designed in the UK since the beginning and continues to work with designers at Jellycat HQ in London and around the country.
