None of the Jellies are quite sure where he came from, but one day Amuseables Boiled Egg Scientist turned round to discover Zyllan Alien smiling back at her! Possessing galactic green fuzz and limbs with out-of-this-world flexibility, Zyllan has proven himself a vital addition to the crew. He doesn’t have the vocal cords to talk, but he’s picked up sign language in no time... and can even convey the odd word telepathically. One thing is clear: he comes in peace! The name Jellycat was dreamt up by a child who loved jellies and cats and giggled at the thought of the two together. The silliness of the name was a great reflection of the design, and so it stuck! Jellycat has been designed in the UK since the beginning and continues to work with designers at Jellycat HQ in London and around the country.
