Elvis has returned...or did he ever really leave? This portrait captures the king's return. Elvis was a young man, 25 years old. Already famous and ready to rock after 2 years of service.Your portrait includes a 'key' that contains details about the life and history of the personality featured in your print. Everyone will be so impressed with your knowledge of the artwork. This is a giclee reproduction of an original artwork that uses pigment-based inks, with a full spectrum of color, they capture every shade of an original work. A giclee is created from a much higher resolution and has a sharper appearance, capturing details only seen on the original. It is printed on an archival museum quality canvas. This framed work of art is ready to hang and comes with hanging hardware, papered back to protect the canvas and a certificate of authenticity which is signed and numbered by artist Lindsay Ekstrom. The gold vintage style frame is chosen by the artist and is subject to change. This item is shipped directly from the artist to you. Orders subject to availability. Canvas: 16 in. x 20 in.
Lindsay Ekstrom, is a self-taught Dallas based artist. Her paintings are inspired by cultural icons, both modern and historic. 'I love a good story. Give me all the juicy details of an icon, dead or alive. As I study these icons, with every fact and anecdote, their image develops in my mind. After weeks of research, I can see them as if they are standing next to me. It is then, I start the portrait. I don't just put historic people in modern clothes for a laugh. The fashion, the colors they wear, even their body language, are all symbols that tell their life story.'
