Skipson Lamb is a gentle dreamer with a lifelong fascination for dinosaurs. He can talk for hours about triceratops and keeps a dino-themed books stacked neatly by his bed. His greatest affection, though, is reserved for the woolly mammoth. There’s something about those kind eyes and cosy coats that he finds endlessly comforting. Most afternoons, Skipson can be found curled up on the sofa, dreaming what it might have been like to wander beside such gentle giants... The name Jellycat was dreamt up by a child who loved jellies and cats and giggled at the thought of the two together. The silliness of the name was a great reflection of the design, and so it stuck! Jellycat has been designed in the UK since the beginning and continues to work with designers at Jellycat HQ in London and around the country.
