She and best friend Fluffy Octopus have held the record on Whelk Invaders for six months running, and it’s not hard to see why… She’s got a real eye for patterns (helpful when dodging coral in Crustacean Cascade) and a sixth sense for spotting fake tokens. Fluffy Octopus handles the moral support. Starfish handles strategy. Most days, you’ll find them perched by the prize counter, (multiple) arms full of (multiple) tickets – and absolutely no intention of going home just yet! The name Jellycat was dreamt up by a child who loved jellies and cats and giggled at the thought of the two together. The silliness of the name was a great reflection of the design, and so it stuck! Jellycat has been designed in the UK since the beginning and continues to work with designers at Jellycat HQ in London and around the country.
